This has been a difficult year for everyone and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and for your efforts to follow all of the guidelines that have been put in place to keep the marina Covid-19 free for the benefit of all. We are incredibly grateful to all of you. We are a small marina and in these strange times seeing a friendly face, being able to have a (socially distanced) chat and knowing you have continued to get out on to the water and enjoy your time at the marina has made all of the difference.

We are pleased to confirm that, following the latest Government announcements, for the period 5th November to 2nd December 2020 marinas can remain open for “business services” – which includes lifting and launching boats. There will be no charge for towing to or from the dock during this time so you do not need to travel to site and we’re happy to send a photo once lifts are complete.

For the safety of all customers and staff, the main gates will be shut and access will only be available to current berth holders and marine contractors. We will be closed to members of the public and visiting boats. During the current lockdown period no overnight stays are allowed on boats except for commercial purposes.

The office and chandlery are closed except for key collection.

We would be very grateful if any outstanding invoices could be paid by BACs please. In addition, it would really help if you could arrange for deliveries to be sent to your home address. Security rounds continue to be made daily and CCTV is monitored  after 5pm. Diesel and gas are available between 9am-5pm to berth holders and brokerage viewings can be arranged virtually online.

We expect further clarity and guidance from relevant Government departments in the coming days, so the situation is fluid and has potential to change at short notice. We will, of course, keep you up to date with any further developments.

Until further clarity is available customers should adhere to Government guidance with regards to travelling to the marina and visiting their boat:

We hope that this email will provide some reassurance though we appreciate that many of you may have further queries. Please be patient, we will answer all telephone and email enquiries as promptly as possible. If not immediately available the phone diverts to my mobile.

Stay safe and look after each other. We hope normal service will resume as soon as possible.

Karl and the team.
