Helping you get back on the water safely

To ensure you are able to relax and enjoy your time here, we have decided to maintain a number of safety measures and guidelines for you to follow when you are on-site.

Reception and chandlery

We will continue with a number of safety measures in the shop for the time being. Screens will remain in place and we will continue to provide antibacterial gels to help everyone shop with confidence.

Wherever possible please pay by card or bacs. Cash for small amounts is fine but other than for annual berthing we will not be accepting cheques.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone 01665 712168 or by email karl@amble.co.uk

Cleaning

All facilities, including trolleys, will be thoroughly cleaned regularly with antibacterial sprays. The key cupboard will be sprayed in disinfectant, we will remove any electric fobs. Where possible, please bring your own keys with you.

Antibacterial gel dispensers have been fitted to the site and hand washing facilities are available. However, we ask that you please take your own precautions – for your own safety and the safety of those around you.

Follow Government advice:

  • wash hands regularly, use antibacterial hand gels
  • check in with the NHS COVID-19 app
  • if you think you might have COVID-19 symptoms, take a test and stay at home

In addition, if after visiting the marina you begin to feel unwell please try to contact us so that we can alert others.

Parking

Please wherever possible allow adequate space for others (who may be vulnerable or who may wish to continue to take necessary social distancing precautions) when you are parking and moving around the site.

Toilets, showers and laundry

The toilet and showerblocks, disabled toilet and laundry are open. We ask that everyone use the facilities with consideration for others.

Pontoons

Please be mindful of others around you when going on to the pontoons.

Assisting you safely

Should you require assistance please stay on board your boat while we take your lines. Once tied up we will leave you to sort warps and fenders in full.

Contractors

If you arrange for a contractor to visit the site please contact us to confirm these arrangements and ask your contractor to contact the marina by telephone on arrival (01665 712168)

Visitors

We are delighted to welcome visiting boats back to the marina. We currently have five berths available for visitors.

Please be aware that your visitor berth must be booked in advance. At this time we cannot welcome boats without a confirmed pre booking. Rafting of any vessels will not be permitted. This is for the safety of all customers, staff and the wider community.

To make a booking please email marina@amble.co.uk, stating your name, address, boat name and make and model and preferred dates. Please note this email is only monitored during office hours.

Moving forward

We hope that the measures that we have decided to keep in place will enable all of our customers to enjoy the marina whilst helping you and our staff to stay safe. We will be monitoring guidance so that we can respond quickly should circumstances change.

Thank you for your support and understanding during this time. We look forward to welcoming you back safely.
