Our 40 tonne Wise hoist enables easy lift out and launch and we offer a range of boat yard services. We currently offer:
- Boat lifting and launching
- Boat moving
- Power washing
- Hull maintenance (polishing and painting)
- Basic engine servicing and winterising
In addition to the services offered by the Amble Marina team, work is also carried out on site by regional marine specialist contractors. We are fortunate that the region’s strong maritime tradition means that there are contractors close by with the full range of specialist skills and expertise boat owners require. Work carried out by contractors on site includes:
- Mast/sail repair and rigging
- GRP maintenance and cleaning
- Mechanics / engine repairs
- Electrical installation / servicing
- Joinery
Please note that any contractor must provide evidence that they are fully insured and must have signed in to the marina office before any work is carried out on site. As a small gesture, to support our local contractors, we decided to waive the usual contractors fee during the first lockdown and continue to do so.

For easy access and operation lift and launch will usually be 3 hours either side of HW.
